Coach Ranero has 13 years of experience as a Head Volleyball Coach at Rowan University (NJ), and 3 additional seasons as an assistant at the collegiate level to The Falls. She prides herself in developing the whole athlete in skill, knowledge, and encourages her players to have as their primary goal, to glorify the Lord through their actions and words. Ranero has spent her career elevating the level of play of her teams, while fostering self-development, teamwork, and unity.  

Ranero has been blessed to have participated in 13 Championship Tournaments including the NJCAA National Tournament as both a player and assistant coach for Miami-Dade College, and she was a part of 2 National Championship Teams. While an assistant coach at Appalachian State University, Ranero helped recruit players who won the Southern Conference Championship and competed in the NCAA Division I Tournament in back-to-back seasons.  

She led Westminster Christian School (FL) to six straight Volleyball Championship Tournament appearances, and her teams were ranked in the top 10 annually, reaching a ranking of 3rd in the State of Florida 2002 poll. Additionally, she was the Assistant Coach at Lakewood Ranch HS (FL) during the 2014 District Championship season in which they reached the Florida HS -7A State Final Four. Most recently, Ranero guided Westminster Christian Academy (Watkinsville, GA) to a State Title in 2023, and a Final Four and Elite 8 appearances in the ’24 and ’25 seasons respectively.  

In addition to accomplishments on the court, Ranero’s teams have earned numerous All-County, All-Conference, and Academic All-American Honors. Her teams have engaged with the local communities through various forms of service events including cancer awareness, Elementary reading programs, Wreaths Across America (Military Honors),  Special Olympics, Relay for Life, hurricane relief, Be the Match (organ donor enrollment), as well as on campus events.  

Coach Ranero is a current member of the American Volleyball Coaches Association and has served on the NCAA New York Regional Volleyball Advisory Committee, SAAC Staff Advisor, FCA Sponsor, Chick-fil-A Leader Academy Sponsor, Honor Code Committee Member, and has helped organize student-athlete devotions and Bible studies. 

Coach Ranero and her husband Juan live in South Carolina and have 4 adult children and 2 grandsons. She enjoys photography and exploring God’s creation with her family.
