Women's Soccer Has One Goal in Mind for 2022/2023
New Coach John Drouse sets his sites high this season.
As the women's team moved in early August, they all came with one goal in mind. Last season ended with a gut wrenching goal in double overtime, and no one has forgotten.
Coach Drouse brought in a steller class of 2022 to put together with his returners, and they have shown his expectations can be reality. With a rough start against a tough NAIA opponent in Freed-Hardeman, the recruiting and preseason work paid off with a big NCCAA victory at Campbellsville-Harrodsburg. Junior Elizabeth Adams, transfer sophomore Madison Desilva, and freshman Abby Burkhart all scored their first goals of the season to give Toccoa Falls a 3-0 victory.
"We are really a focused group this year, looking to take it one step further than last season, and then anything can happen." says Coach Drouse.
