Screaming Eagles Take Down Bruins in Last Home Match
The Toccoa Falls Men’s Basketball team turned the tables in their rematch against Carolina University, securing a hard-fought 76-71 victory in their final home game of the season. After falling to the NAIA team earlier this year, the Screaming Eagles made key adjustments and delivered a strong performance to claim redemption.
Riding a five-game winning streak, the team continues to showcase their progress and determination, proving their ability to adapt and compete at a high level. The screaming Eagles played with intensity from start to finish, and every player contributed to the well-earned victory.
Jeremiah Williams led the offensive charge with an impressive 21 points and 8 rebounds. Randall Robinson followed closely behind with 20 points and knocking down 6 of his 9 free-throw attempts. Will Gray-Watson provided additional firepower with 10 points and 12 defensive rebounds. At the same time, Kaleb Thomas anchored the defense, snagging key steals that disrupted Carolina University's rhythm and shooting the 3-pointer that sealed the game for the Screaming Eagles.
This game not only extended the team's winning streak but also served as a memorable final home performance for the season. Now, the Screaming Eagles set their sights on their last game of the season, facing Clinton College tomorrow. With momentum on their side, they'll look to close out their season with another strong showing.
