TFC Women's Soccer Off to a Hot Start

The Toccoa Falls Women's Soccer team is making waves in the 2024 season, led by standout player Maddie DeSilva. With 7 goals in 8 games, DeSilva is currently the nation's second-leading goal scorer. Beca Siufi has also been a key contributor, leading the team with 3 assists.

Through the first 8 games, the team is 4-2-2, with the only two losses coming from an experienced NCCAA Division 1 opponent and an NCAA Division 3 opponent. After a tough 5-0 loss to Ohio Christian to start the season, the team rebounded with a strong 1-1 draw against nearby rival, Piedmont University. After that, they picked up momentum, winning four straight games: 3-1 over Campbellsville University Harrodsburg, 2-0 against Trinity Baptist College, 3-0 over Wesleyan (Ga.), and a dominant 4-0 win over Warren Wilson. They tied 1-1 with LaGrange and recently fell to Brevard 2-0.

Your Toccoa Falls Women's Soccer has had a strong start, proving they are ready to take on the second half of the season with confidence. Up next, the ladies face Huntingdon College and Carolina Christian College at home, before hitting the road to face a strong NAIA side in Brenau University.
