In the second half of the game, the Screaming Eagles played stronger defensively PCC was only able to score 3 goals, which is fewer goals than they had in the first half. PCC had a weaker defense in the second half of the game, the Screaming Eagles were able to score 2 goals. Head Coach Ste Heu had this to say after the game, "The guys came out a bit flat in the first half and were punished for that. On the positive side, they came out with more intent in the second half and managed to score two goals against the number one team in the nation".
