The TFC Screaming Eagles took on Johnson University in a double header today.
The first game was off to an uneventful start until the third inning when Johnson University scored 2 runs. Johnson extended their lead by scoring 2 more runs in the fourth making it 4-0. Despite Johnson's big lead, TFC pulled it together in the top of the sixth scoring 4 runs to tie up the game. In the second game, Toccoa Falls College took the lead early when Jeb Wilkinson (FR/Lexington, SC) drove in 1 run with an RBI single in the second inning. TFC scored 2 runs in the fourth and 2 more in the sixth for extra security. Johnson University put one run on the score board in the bottom of the seventh, but it was too late. The game ended 5-1 with TFC taking the win.
